Misting systems rely on
the principle of evaporation to cool your environment and ensure
“thermal comfort”. Thermal comfort depends upon a number of
factors, including environmental factors such as humidity, air
temperature and air speed.
Outdoor Misting Systems
use flash evaporation to cool the air. The misting system forces
water through specially designed nozzles to create a fog of ultra
fine water droplets.
These tiny water droplets quickly absorb the heat present in the
environment and evaporate, becoming water vapour. The heat used to
change the water to a vapour is eliminated from the environment,
hence the air is cooled. The process also cleans the air and
repels flying insects. As a result cooling takes place without
wetting.
